Dreams offer us a window into the depths of our being. Contained in the universal metaphors of the dream world, are insights, messages and portents that can guide us towards greater wholeness and connection to others.
In this therapy group, you will learn to access the creativity, guidance and inspiration offered through dreams and reverie. We will hold dreams as a starting point for the identification and exploration of personal strengths, hopes and aspirations. The group will also provide a supportive space, where difficulties, challenges and trauma can be safely expressed and worked through.
Therapeutic modalities will include drama therapy, psychodrama, expressive art therapy and talk therapy.
About the facilitator: Ben Rivers is an Australian psychotherapist, drama therapist, and group facilitator with over 10 years of experience working with clients diverse in age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. Ben Rivers is an MFT Trainee, supervised by Armand Volkas, MFT, RDT/BCT, MFC#28789.
